| The venue for the Installation Meeting was Ashday Lea Masonic Hall Rawtenstall. For those regular readers of this website may be thinking they have read this before, an item entitled West to East was posted on the 20th. November 2017.regarding the Installation of Worshipful Brother Marc William Lester Goldsworthy as Worshipful Master of David Lamb Council in the Allied Masonic Degree District of East Lancashire. | Now Marc was already Worshipful Master of Thomas Firth Jackson Council on the Furness Peninsular in the District of West Lancashire and in his wisdom or foolhardiness took on the Idea of being Worshipful Master of both Councils. Not being content with that situation he was elected Master Elect of his Craft Lodge, Tranquillity with Hospitality No. 274, and on the 2nd. December 2017 was Installed. |
| Tranquillity is a fine old Lodge dating back some 225 years and recently amalgamated with Hospitality Lodge. A goodly number of masons from East and West Lancashire and other Provinces attended, some of which were Allied Masons, to support Worshipful Brother Goldsworthy. A thoroughly good time was had by all. |
